I must say it is an excellent unit and the graphics are excellent for such a small thing. In my opinion, its like having a nintendo 64 in your hands. I can only hope that other game developers will try to make this ds a great portable system as it has so much potential.
Just a personal opinion, but I think its too unwieldy. I've always preferred consoles where the controls were simple and straight to the point, which is why I like older consoles like the NES and Sega Genesis instead of newer consoles like the Game Cube and the Playstations (not that I haven't played on a Playstation 2 or anything like that; a friend of mine has one, and I've played hockey against him a few times); this goes double for the handheld games. Extra equipment is unneeded as far as I'm concerned.
Anyways, that's just me. If other people like the Nintendo DS...well, to each his own.
